Description
This is my dear sponsor girl Kare, who is being wonderfully cared for by ARC - Animal Rescue and Care animal welfare charity in N Macedonia. I first saw a post for Kare when she had been rounded up into a public shelter...she was all curled into a small ball looking afraid, hopeless and lost. This pound do not put the dogs to sleep but they turn them loose after neutering them and the dogs do not necessarily end up where they came from...they can end up in all kinds of danger, hunger and discomfort. So ARC was sending out a plea to get her into rescue for a chance of adoption. Plus, she had old injuries...she has slightly deformed legs and hobbles a bit, though this has improved noticeably. 7 months later...I can't believe it has gone so fast but Kare is now a very happy, loving, active and intelligent girl who adores interactions with the dogs and people she knows. The charity and I desperately want to get her a lovely home where she can settle and enjoy a permanent family. She can be rehomed with or without other dogs, but seeing how much she adores her friends in shelter I think it'd be lovely for her to have a brother or sister. I have agreed to take Kare in foster, so she will be arriving in the UK around the 12th if July. I'd absolutely love to have her permanently but we have 3 other rescues already and a 4th coming in autumn! I tend to adopt the very scared ones who are difficult to home but Kare is not one of those, she is an absolute star and bundle of love.
