Description
Patch is an American bulldog x staffy mix.
He was born March 2025 so a year and 3 months but we're unsure of the exact date.
He's fine with all animals (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits etc), loves children but can be hyper and may jump up but in a playful manner.
He enjoys learning and sees training as a game. He understands 'sit', 'lay down', 'stay' (still working on this one), 'leave it', 'drop it' and 'here' (comes over to you and sits/lays down), 'up' as well as being able to roll over, spin/turn but those are hit or miss and often require hand signals for him to respond.
He has a lovely temperament but unfortunately we no longer have the facilities to look after him as he needs somewhere with a garden. We'd like him to go to a good home with a family who have experience with larger breeds since he can become hyper and pull whilst on lead.
He doesn't require a muzzle and can be off lead if desired (but not recommended unless somewhere away from a road due to recall being hit or miss) since we have confirmation from the police that he isn't a banned breed which we are happy to show but would rather it not leave our possession due to having personal information on it.
His harness and lead would stay with him and he used to have a collar but kept coughing whilst wearing it even after adjustments so currently does not wear one.
