⭐️ Meet Sanchez ⭐️
🏡 Sanchez is in foster with us in the West Midlands.
❤️ He is a 7 year old mixed breed male, on the larger side of medium (24kg).
❤️ Are you looking to adopt a super loyal, easygoing, older, bigger boy - and are willing to put in a bit of work at the beginning to help him build trust? If so, Sanchez could be the one for you!
❤️ Sanchez is an amazing boy! He is house trained, sleeps through the night and doesn't make a fuss if you have a lie in. He is content with whatever length of walk you go on, not destructive, no separation anxiety, walks well on a lead and no reactivity. He absolutely loves a fuss and being with his people. He's a big daft boy with so much love to give!
❤️ He's a simple dog - food, fusses, a good sniff outside and he's happy!
❤️ He may be older but he still loves his walks, long or short. He really gets excited when we go on long adventures and has plenty of energy for a good hike.
❤️ He is a natural protector which means he barks at the door and also means he's unsure of visitors in the home, but he isn't aggressive (just a bit growly initially). He wants to keep his people safe.
❤️ He would suit a single person or couple looking for companionship, someone who appreciates the added security of a dog who alerts you when someone’s at the door, or anyone with the time and patience to earn his trust.
❤️ Although Sanchez is great with our two six-year-olds, he is very nervous around new people and situations. For this reason, a child-free home may be more suitable -unless you are fully prepared to put in the time and effort to help him overcome his initial fears.
❤️ We are looking for someone who will give Sanchez a real chance! Someone who isn't going to give up on him after 5 minutes. Someone who isnt going to judge him for being scared and maybe growling at first. If you can do that, you will not regret adopting him! Once you break down his barriers you'll see what a beautiful soul he is!
❤️ We can arrange as many meet and greets as possible before you make a decision.

Sanchez is microchipped, neutered, he was vetted and fully vaccinated prior to travel to the UK, 4dx tested, IFAT tested, up to date with flea and worm treatment, and has an EU Passport.
Adopters are welcome to keep his harness, lead, and coat. He will also be rehomed with some of his current dog food.
Home requirements:
🌳 Secure garden
🐕 Other dogs in the house must be neutered
📣 Must keep in touch with the rescue so they can see how well he is doing
(Each home is considered on an individual basis)
