Three super walking boys and one in training.
1 - Ashwood Jet Setter (Cedric) is a stocky, well built male with a stunning golden fawn fleece. He is a gentleman and a firm favourite with our customers on walks but we feel our walking route is quite strenuous for him now and to maintain his longevity, feel an easier life for him would be best.
Cedric is an entire male (you would not know it!) and he has produced excellent cria for us, some of which can be seen.
We are selling him as we have very few females that he can cover. He is very reasonably priced and an exceptional home is a must. He is the easiest male to have around, knows his job and would also be perfect for someone wanting to start out breeding quality alpacas.
His dam being, Ashwood Flash Dance, a fawn female, who has been rewarded 1st's and champion on numerous shows. Jet Setter's sire being, Lavender Park Tulley, a fawn male, who has been rewarded 1st's and champion on shows for an outstanding fleece around the country.
Cedric has been rewarded 1st's, 2nd's and reserved champion on multiple shows around the country.
He will be sadly missed but we must be sensible and allow him to carry on doing what he loves at an easier pace! Cedric will be 11 years old this June.
2 - Lythe Brow Ditto (Custard) is the sweetest, easiest boy there is. He has been used here for all of our activities and is also well received where ever he goes due to his sweet, steady nature. He has attended care homes, schools, summer fairs to name a few. He walks superbly and likes to take his time, he will walk with the smallest of children and the wobbliest of grandmas. He is a gentle eater, never nips and is a true saint. He also has a superb fleece and has maintained a softness, brightness and fineness to his fleece that would be the envy of many a show alpaca! He will be greatly missed here but we need to downsize our numbers. Custard will be 6 years old this August and is castrated.
3 - Poppywood Timothy is a quiet, sweet little male who has been used on lots of our experiences. He walks well, eats from everyone's hands and has been out and about to events last summer. Timothy is still entire and has the potential to be a lovely little stud male in the future. His small, compact body style, neat little head and soft fleece along with his impressive genetics and calm temperament make him the perfect package. He is out of one of Jet Setter's daughters (Leven Valley Jazmyn) and by Putjade Joseph (grey) giving him a super mix of sought after genetics. Timothy will be 2 years old this June.
4 - Poppywood Bounty is another of our quality homebred males. He is halter broken and currently in training with his walking. He is very used to people and has been used during our meet & greet experiences. He also has the potential to be a nice stud male with his abundance of fleece, great character and impressive genetics. He is out of Poppywood Pearl (Ashwood Jet setter) and by Putjade Joseph. Bounty is 10 months old.
All are BAS registered, up to date with all their husbandry, vaccines, toes etc.
These boys are priced to sell, their price does not reflect their quality. They have very easy natures and would make a great addition to any herd but are easy enough to be part of a starter herd.
Please note, we will not sell them to any alpaca walking businesses within a 30 mile radius of us as not to compete against one another!
Lifelong support offered but you will need some knowledge of alpacas to ensure their needs are met.
