He has been raised around children and adults from a very young age. He is extremely well-socialised, friendly, affectionate, and used to daily interaction with both adults and kids. Because of his excellent behaviour, and rare level of training and socialisation, the price is strictly non-negotiable.
Cockatoos are often described as "toddlers with wings." They require a huge time commitment, daily mental stimulation, and a high-quality diet. They can also be loud and demanding, although Pax is generally very quiet. We will only sell to someone who has previous experience with large parrots or has extensively researched the specific needs of a cockatoo, and preferably has another Triton Cockatoo. Under absolutely no circumstances can he live in a flat due to his needs and the fact that cockatoos can be very loud (although he is remarkably quiet!). Please do not waste our time.
