💔 Rescue Story
Mona shares the same beginning as her sisters. As a young puppy, she was abandoned near a monastery together with them — a place that should symbolise safety, yet is often used as a dumping ground for unwanted dogs, where many do not survive been poisoned or even burned alive. Left exposed and vulnerable, Mona survived thanks to her resilience and the bond with her sisters, growing into a trusting and loving dog despite such an unfair start.

Mona currently lives in a mini-shelter in an outdoor enclosure, getting out to the garden a few times a day off leash and adapts well to routine. When meeting new people, her response depends on her mood — she may approach confidently or take a little time to observe, but always wagging her tail. Once on a lead, she settles well and feels comfortable. Mona is affectionate but thoughtful with strangers, building trust quite quickly. With familiar people, she blossoms, seeking closeness and showing gratitude through gentle leaning, cuddles, and licking hands. She loves lively company and truly enjoys playtime with other dogs, especially fetching balls or tug toys, happily bringing them back again and again. Mona is obedient, intelligent, and eager to engage in training, responding well to treats and positive interaction.

Mona would thrive in a quite countryside, in an active home that enjoys shared time, play, and gentle training. She would love to live with another friendly dog and have access to toys and space to play. A family with older children would suit her well, allowing her to enjoy interaction while feeling respected and secure.
