Description
We have decided to rehome our beautiful, playful, loving cocker spaniel Tanooki. She is 1 year and 3 months old, so still very young.
She is fully house trained, exceptional on the lead and has really good recall. She loves long walks and, as you can see from one of the photos, loves a good swim. She has been raised since birth in our home, surrounded by our other dogs, cat and friendly Guinea pig (the real boss of the house).
She is crate trained and is fully content to either lay in her bed or lay by your side, she simply fits into your daily life. She is used to young children, and the associated loud noises, travelling in a car and being in public areas. She has so much love to give, loves playing with our 4month old puppy and loves to be around you.
As with any dog she does have her bad days, she likes other dogs to hear her voice when out on a walk, however a firm “no” quickly teaches her to be quiet. She also possesses the classic ability of any dog to have ‘cotton ears’ from time to time and completely ignore you. Again, this is a rare occurrence and she laps up the praise when she knows she’s done well.
Tanooki would suit anyone. She’s the most amazing dog and she will only go to the best of homes. As I’m sure you can understand, she is extremely loved in our family and we need to be sure she goes to a family who will continue to love and care for her as we do.
We are rehoming her as we’re moving to a smaller property soon and we won’t be able to give her as much time and attention as she deserves.
