Location: Foster home in Sheffield
❤️ Josephine was found abandoned with her siblings in Romania as a young puppy and was lucky enough to gain a place on the Happy Bus. She is currently living in a foster home with her brother, Loki and both are searching for their forever families.
Josephine is a nervous little thing but is trying her best to be brave. This definitely gets easier when there is chicken involved. In fact, will be sociable for chicken is her tag line! She stays in her safe space when visitors arrive but observes carefully.
Josephine accepts a collar, harness and lead and does enjoy walks but is very nervous outside. She doesn’t like to walk past people and will stop or try to spin around and pull away.
Josephine has not met children or cats. If children are considered they must be older as she is so nervous. This is for her sake only, she has only ever shown herself to be sweet and gentle. She can live with other dogs but again, only those that are calm as she is very wary of dogs who are lively and get in her space.
Josephine is still very young and is still in her puppy era. She is still learning toilet training and currently using puppy pads. She has also been know to chew things like her bedding but her foster is working with her on both and she is improving all the time.
Her foster describes her as “a very sweet girl, just very nervous”. Her ideal home would be a calm and quiet household with people who have the time and patience to help a nervous new addition settle into her forever home in her own time. With lots of chicken!❤️
