Description
This is Buddy. He was one of our pups from last year (pictures are him as pup). He was returned to us through no fault of his own other than being a big, strong, car reactive goof ball. We took him back with intentions of keeping him but it’s quite clear that he would be much better in an only dog household or maybe another dog. We have 4 dogs and at home, buddy doesn’t know how to calm down and settle. He’s very boisterous in the house and with him being quite a bit bigger than both parents, it’s quite difficult having a Shetland pony on permanent zoomies in the house. Outside the house, other than trying to chase and “bite” cars, he is very well behaved. Walks nicely to heel and is perfect with dogs and will sit and wait until told to greet. He’s an amazing dog outside. Now per advise from a trainer, he has to be on a prong collar outside the house otherwise he will cause damage to himself and possible handler if he runs into the road to chase cars. I’m more than happy to show this behaviour on his normal collar and his prong so you can see the difference. If you are against these tools or won’t keep him on it for his safety then this dog won’t be for you. He is amazing with kids, people and dogs. Isn’t fully cat tested but he chased ours. Maybe with careful introductions, this could be possible. His house manners at the minute are shocking and I think it’s because he’s surrounded by a big pack of dogs. He’s now 10 months old and was bought at 13 weeks old. He’s very well socialised but not had a great start to life. More than happy to go into more information over text. I own both parents who can both be seen if needed. Buddy is currently 40.2kg which is 10kg bigger than his mum and 8kg bigger than his dad so this needs to be took into consideration, yes he’s still a pup but he’s strong and dominant for his age. He needs someone who will continue his training and bring out the best in him. We would also like these owners to join the WhatsApp group chat with his other siblings so we get to see him grow up and you get to see his 9 other siblings.
He is house trained and crate trained. He knows to wait for his dinner and his manners with food are brilliant. He’s currently raw fed but has had 7Sevens biscuits in the past as a pup and recently
He will come with his crate and prong if needed :)
