Description
It is with a heavy heart that I am rehoming my 2 Fischer's Lovebirds named Pickle and Levi. I will not sell them separately as they have always been together. They are approximately 4 months old. They are the same age (1 is a few days older) but from different parents.
I purchased them from a breeder, and both birds are banded. The birds and cage alone cost over £400. I am asking for £275. It is important to me that they go to a good home.
I don't know their sexes as this can only be determined by DNA testing or egg laying.
They are semi-tame but they are nippy, especially the tourqiose. They have been raised together since shortly after hatching and were hand fed. They used to get along with each other without issue, but lately they have been separated while caged due to squabbles. They do sleep with each other at night and come out of the cage together every day and they are allowed to free roam, fly and explore.
They do not like hands and will bite, but they do fly to me and will preen my hair and climb all over me. They will also fly to my son and happily be on his head and preen him as well.
Their diet consists of Harrison's high potency superfine, and Chop. With Lafeber Nutriberries and millet as treats.
Large flight cage with removable divider and all accessories included except for a light. You will need to bring your own carrier if you choose not to transport in the cage. A fitted made to measure night cover is also included.
