Description

We have made the very hard decision that we should try to rehouse our lovely miniature golden doodle, Jasmine. We got her as a puppy in January 2023. We have 5 young children, and they all love her dearly. We have many happy memories with her. She is very loving and affectionate, and in many ways has been a very hassle-free dog. She doesn’t shed any fur, and is fully house-trained, never having any accidents. But I have grown up with dogs and seen many different characters, and feel that she’s not best suited for life with young children. She can get anxious with too much over-stimulation. Our children understand that, and are very good with her. But we have lots of friends in and out of our home, some with young children that aren’t used to dogs, and we feel that these situations are quite stressful for Jasmine. She’s very loyal, and can be quite protective of our children, so when we’re all out together I keep her constantly on the lead as she won’t allow any other dogs to come near us . She would be ideally suited for a couple or single, who can appreciate and enjoy her company. She is a truly great companion- gives you amazing greetings when you come in, but quickly settles down beside you and would happily and quietly lie beside you all day. She doesn’t need huge amounts of exercise. One half hour walk per day is fine. She’s very good being left alone in the house, but is at her happiest in quiet company. Vaccinations, flea and worming treatments are all up-to-date. She has had one litter of puppies with us, and is now Spey. We’re in no rush to lose her, and really want to see her going to the right person. We would request the buyer to come and see her in our home, preferably several times, and our priority would be that they are completely assured that she a good match for them.
