We have owned Esmae since 8 weeks old. She 3 on dec 23rd
She’s up to date on all vaccinations, all paperwork plenty of photos of her now as a puppy and some of her mum and dad. Her grandad is TK NEW YORKER she’s fully housetrained and loves the freedom of coming in and out the house through the dog flap. She’s crate trained also.
She’s a good guard dog she barks to alert you if someone’s around, but she will stop when told. She’s great with our ferret and our chihuahua and other dogs but she can be a bit space invading, however if she’s told she will come away. She has lived with young children however she will not tolerate anyone mauling her if she does not want to be and climbing on her she will let it be known and she will give warning however she’s never bitten so I’d personally say she’s better in a home with children under 5 so they won’t be climbing on her.
She walks well on a slip lead or halti or a retractable lead she potters along in front and comes back when I call her whilst on it if coming up to a road etc .will sit stay and come when called. Has good recall while on walks however haven’t tested around other dogs properly as she does show frustration on the lead when close up to other dogs as she wants to be their friend and due to not being allowed as I don’t allow it she does display frustrated behaviour, we have worked on this and she’s not half as bad as she was, this could be worked on further. This is her only downfall but she’s never ever been nasty to a dog or shown any type of dominance my mums snappy chihuahua rules her she’s really friendly. She’s never lived with cats but I can’t see why not if introduced she doesn’t really have a prey drive. She’s happy to do a 45 min walk and happy to chill around all day too. She’s a great dog and we are sad to have to rehome her. Sadly her and my other dog (who I had first) both bitches with 6 month between them well they keep fighting with each other and it’s not fair to them and Esmae is the easier dog out of the two. Comes with all paperwork etc she’s reg wormed and flead and up to date on all vaccines Inc boosters. She is vet checked every 6 months as on the pet plan I’d say she weighs approx 34-36kg vets say she’s the perfect weight and don’t want her heavier. She’s fed once a day. 2 scoops of dry food it’s what keeps her good weight. She loves playing she loves bubbles and hosepipe she loves playing with other dogs. She’s very friendly
