This listing is for a mix of eggs from our Jumbo Coturnix pens.
The parents are a mix of XL Giant (380g to 600g) and Super Jumbo (500g to 600g) and Jumbo.
Fertility has been tested and has been very good, with quail chicks recently hatched.
We will collect fresh eggs daily for your order and dispatch as soon as we can. (Please bear in mind it is a small flock so it does depend on the laying frequency of our hens).
We’ll keep you updated and let you know as soon as your order is ready to be sent out.
Jumbo Quail offer larger eggs than normal Coturnix and have lovely personalities.
We ship hatching eggs UK-wide via tracked delivery. Each egg is carefully packed, providing excellent protection against knocks and temperature fluctuations during transit. We’ve been hatching and posting eggs for many years.
Unfortunately, the postal system is unpredictable and when hatching posted eggs it is important to understand it is unlikely all will hatch, you should expect roughly around 3 chicks per 6 eggs, however we have regularly seen more hatch.
We recommend allowing eggs to rest for 12 hours before setting to let air cells stabilise.
