Description
Bruce is a well-balanced English/German Wirehaired Pointer cross from proven working lines. At 16 months old and currently 33kg, he is athletic, biddable, and highly trainable, with a strong natural working drive. Both parents are working pointers, and Bruce has shown his pointing instinct from an early age, along with excellent promise for retrieving and hunting. While not being worked formally, he is in training for retrieving and casual fieldwork, with an outstanding eagerness to learn and please.
He is up to date with vaccinations and will undergo all relevant health checks before being made available at stud (minimum 18 months old). Bruce is friendly and submissive with other dogs, excitable but gentle with people, and fantastic with children. He is excellent in the water, loves swimming, and his recall continues to improve steadily. His temperament, combined with 10/10 trainability, makes him a highly promising prospect for producing versatile, capable working pups.
A stud contract will be in place. For his first stud, I am open to negotiating either a fee or pick of the litter, and I am willing to travel if needed. For now, this listing is to gauge interest and make connections ahead of Bruce reaching stud age.
