Description
After a long and hard ongoing conversation we have decided that it is within the best interests to sell Jack.
He’s just turned 4, he’s a lovely boy to handle, great to pick up his feed and groom and loves a carrot. Due to his age I’ve done next to nothing with him other than tack him up and get on his back twice. He was no problem to be put on his back first time it was done slowly and the second time I got a leg up onto him and he was absolutely perfect.
He’s been on a busy livery yard over winter with lots of other horses, dogs, Cars people etc and farming machinery although only when the tractors have been through the yard and into the fields. His previous home he was stables over winter in an American barn with daily tractors going in.
Due to recently having a baby and things not working in our favour financially with our jobs and our spare time unfortunately Jack is not going to get the time he deserves with us and I want him to be able to have the time and attention he needs with him being young.
When we bought him he was only halter broken and since we’ve had him we’ve managed to very lightly get him backed. He’s listed at £4500, as over the next few weeks and until he has found his new home I have arranged for him to get a bit more work done with him in terms of being tacked up and sat on so this part has been done for his new owner. I’m happy to discuss the price on him and take a lower offer with him just how he is.
He is turned out daily with other horses and stabled at night with a good bag of haylage, he comes to call, great with the farrier, and to worm etc.
Please feel free to message me with any further questions etc but please only if you’re serious as I don’t have a lot of spare time to be wasted. Thank you.
