Description
We are delighted to offer a stunning litter of ruby, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies, lovingly raised in our home with a strong focus on health, temperament, and early socialisation.
Parents have undergone extensive DNA Health Testing for Peace of Mind and to ensure puppies are healthy.
We have had dogs all our lives and bring a wealth of experience in their care, wellbeing, and development. We have recently considered applying for a dog breeding license from the local authority. However, we have been told we do not meet the threshold due to not having enough litters over a specific timeframe.
Our aim is simple: to raise happy, healthy puppies that will become cherished members of their forever families.
Early socialisation is very important, and research tells us that home-bred puppies are exposed to a wider range of stimuli and people from a young age, leading to better socialisation and adaptability in future.
The benefits of getting a puppy from a home breeder is that the puppy will have been handled by humans and will have formed better human attachment bonds and not just attachment bonds with mum and litter mates. We all know that early attachments are important for both human and animal babies.
We ourselves got mum from a home breeder, and our other dog came from a kennel breeder. It was much easier to train mum than it was our other dog. Mum also settled much faster than our other dog which we believe supports the above research.
Both parents have undergone comprehensive DNA testing:
Mum – Clear for:
•Dry Eye Curly Coat (DE/CC)
•Episodic Falling Syndrome (EFS)
•Muscular Dystrophy
Dad – Clear for:
•Dry Eye Curly Coat (DE/CC)
•Episodic Falling Syndrome (EFS)
•Muscular Dystrophy
•MCAD Deficiency
•Doppler-tested heart (Green – clear)
These results ensure your puppy has the very best genetic start in life.
About the Parents:
•Dad is Kennel Club registered. He is a stud dog and is beautiful with an amazing temperament.
•Mum comes from Kennel Club registered parents, although she herself was not registered, this does not affect her quality—she is a true example of the Cavalier breed with a fantastic temperament and excellent health.
•Mum is not just a dog to us—she is a much-loved member of our family. She has her own wardrobe, joins us on family holidays, and enjoys a truly wonderful lifestyle.
•Father has the same lifestyle as mum and they both got on amazingly.
About Our Puppies:
Puppies have been wormed since the age of two weeks. We have been using Panacur 10% liquid suspension. Following collection of your puppy, you will need to discuss with your vet at the second vaccine appointment suitable worming going forward. The second vaccination will need to be given 4 weeks after the first vaccination.
•The puppies are being raised in a loving family home with daily socialisation.
•The puppies are currently socialised with a cat, another dog, and children, giving them a fantastic start in a variety of environments.
•The puppies are being exposed to common household noises (hoover, TV, kitchen sounds, etc.) to help build their confidence.
•Toilet training will be started before the puppies leave us to assist with a smooth transition.
•Puppies will be vet-checked, microchipped, and vaccinated (age-appropriate) before leaving our care and you will be provided with the above records.
•These puppies will be well-prepared for family life, whether with children, couples, or individuals.
Each Puppy Leaves With:
•A comprehensive puppy pack (comfort items, blanket with mum’s smell & care guide).
•Copies of parental DNA testing.
•Lifetime support and guidance from us.
Bringing a new dog home is an exciting time, but it’s important to be prepared and patient as they adjust.
Bringing a new puppy or dog home is always a happy time, but it does mean you’ll have the important job of helping them adjust to their new environment.
On the first day, your dog will see, hear and smell many new things, leaving them feeling a little nervous and confused. They might even be quieter than usual and need extra comfort.
You may be feeling both excited and nervous. Those feelings are okay, though! With some understanding, patience and preparation, you can make the transition easier for the both of you and everyone in the family.
While bringing a new dog home should be fun, it also needs careful thought to make things easier. So, take some time to get ready as a bit of planning can help everyone adjust better.
Think about how you can make your home welcoming and safe for the new arrival. By taking care of these details first, you can focus on bonding with your puppy as well as essential skills like toilet training and recall.
We are here to talk you through the above and ensure you are well prepared prior to pup’s arrival home. We are also here to answer any questions you may have post pups’ arrival so no need to worry about being left in the dark.
