Arthur – 5-Year-Old Male Horsefield Tortoise – Looking for His Forever Home With a very heavy heart, I am looking to rehome my much-loved Horsefield tortoise, Arthur. Arthur is a 5-year-old male with a wonderful, friendly personality. He’s a curious little chap who enjoys his baths and is used to being handled. He has been kept indoors all his life and has never hibernated. His diet consists of edible flowers, fresh dandelions and quality tortoise pellets. He will come with everything he needs to get settled, including his indoor enclosure, substrate, heat lamp and UVB lighting. When I got Arthur, my plan was always to build him a secure outdoor enclosure so he could enjoy natural sunlight and safely roam during the warmer months. Unfortunately, due to changes in my family circumstances, I can no longer provide this. I truly believe he deserves a home where he has access to a safe outdoor run as well as excellent day-to-day care. This is not a decision I’ve made lightly, and I will only let Arthur go to the right home. His welfare is my absolute priority. If you have experience with tortoises, or can offer Arthur the loving home and outdoor space he deserves, I’d love to hear from you.
