Description
We had a litter of 12 beautiful puppies, with 11 now available. Both Mum and Dad are our family pets. It was an accidental breeding, but one that’s produced the cutest, confident pups so it turned out to be a blessing as we get to keep one. The rest are available to suitable and experienced families.
Dad comes from working lines bred on a farm in Serbia, used for farm work and hog hunting. He was bred for athleticism and health over size and looks like most modern Corso’s in the UK are today. He is very true to type of a classic Italian Cane Corso, soppy like a big baby with the family while very protective and suspicious of strangers. If you have experience with the breed or have done your research you will know these aren’t the type of dog that will wag their tail for strangers in the park or allow them to stroke them. They will also not be friendly to any visitors in your home that they do not know. This is in their nature. (There are exceptions to the rule but most aren’t friendly to strangers.)
He loves a long walk and run off the lead to stretch his legs. He was bred to catch wild pigs, so is very fast and athletic. Saying that he’s very obedient and comes back when called even when chasing a rabbit or deer lol. He is intelligent and easy to train. He’s also good with our young kids. For an experienced owner they are the perfect, well balanced family guard dog.
Mum is a Cane Corso x German Shepherd. She has the calm sweet nature of a female German Shepherd and still protective when she thinks it’s needed. She is great with strangers and visitors to the home. Only starts to guard when absolutely necessary. (No excessive barking). Very intelligent and stable. She’s also very athletic and I’m yet to wear her out on a run she can go all day. But they both chill out when indoors. Her Dad is a large Cane Corso and her Mum is a German Shepherd that came from West German working lines. Pictures of Mum are while 30 days pregnant so she has bit of a belly. She is normally naturally lean as is Dad.
Both parents want to be around the family and cuddled up at every opportunity.
Pups will come wormed, microchipped and with first vaccine. They are currently being fed on Acana kibble. They will come with a bag of kibble for you to mix with your chosen food in order to transition them over with minimal stomach upset. I’d recommend a good quality food with a high protein content as these are athletic working type dogs. They will also come with a blanket that has Mums and littermates scent on. They’re being raised in our front room and are being handled regularly. We’re exposing them to loud noises and other environmental scenarios.
We will require ID and some background on anyone interested in purchasing one. These pups are loved like our own pets so will only be going to the right homes.
