Description
Here we have Hector. He is mine and My late mothers dog who we’ve had since a pup. He is an Bull mix. Mother was an staffy x bull mastiff and father was an American bull dog. He is very much a family house dog. Hes got a lovely soft nature, full of energy, very strong boy and easily excitable. He is especially excitable with unfamiliar faces and other dogs. He is quiet doesn’t bark much but will lunge at people and dogs. This is just because he just wants to say hello and play. He gets overwhelmed with excitement and doesn’t know his own strength. He is normally fine with other dogs and has gotten along a few in the past however he hasn’t been near one for long for while now because of my circumstances. He’s toilet trained really well he knows a few commands and behaves pretty well most of the time. Although these go out the window once he’s in these excitable situations or he gets hold of food or an object he knows he shouldn’t have as He can be a bit possessive and territorial. All in all he’s such a lovable dog who needs a loving home that will give him plenty of attention and walks, something I am unable to. He was mine and my mothers dog. My mother has recenty passed away and I had already moved in with my partner and kids and 8 cats before this so I am unable to give him provide a home for him.
He is chipped and neutered
I also have a certificate from dogs trust
I try to avoid feeding him grains as it seems to set his stomach off and gives him really loose stools.
I try to feed him 4 tins of grain free butchers dog food a day.
He does shed a lot of hair unfortunately so be prepared. I’ve tried all sorts but can’t seem to get a handle on it. There may be a solution i have not been able to find.
Apart from this he is really healthy strong lad with no health issues at all.
I’d recommend he went to a single person with no pets unless maybe they have a another large dog. Someone who is able to walk him at least once a day. I say this just due to his size and strength and energy levels. I just want him to go to home where he isn’t left alone to long and loved and cared for. It breaks my heart having to do this but it breaks my heart even more knowing he currently doesn’t get the attention and care he deserves and needs. He is such lovely, caring dog and full of life who would make an amazing companion for someone.
I hope there is someone out there that can give him a forever home.
