Description

Narlah is my female husky cross I purchased nearly 7 years ago at 9 weeks old.shes never been bred,she's not socialised with other dogs or strangers ..she is an indoor dog ,crate trained,but very high prey drive for rats,cats,need a 6ft fence in garden .she excepts familly ,grankidds,friends,but anybody coming to home or to door etc narlah has to be put away ,she will not except strangers ..to introduce her to some one has to be gradual over a period of 4..5 visits and eventually she settles down..she's not an aggressive dog ,she is fear barking ,she never attacked anybody or tried to but her heckles will go up and she will bark.she should never be off the lead when walked ..I have walked her at 6am for 6 years because nobody about and walk goes smoothly if your walking her where lots of people she needs muzzling she will bark and is not socialised..she needs a home with no kidds ..no pets..a single strong male who loves dogs and knows how to handle a strong dog .she's strong and will pull if she seas a squirel.cats etc..she's super intelligent,opens doors.shakes hands,loves fetch,hide and seek,she's very good agility ,in the home is very obedient but outside she's goes into alpha mode ..she's fully house trained never has a accident, can be left alone while person works.i will not just part with her to anybody and youl need several visits plus walks with me and her until I'm convinced your Mr right and she has excepted you in her presence..it may take a few visits with her but if your a man that appreciates a loyal very good home alert dog who's very very smart youl put the effort in..she has been my soul mate and loyal companion ..and I'm heartbroken and its very very hard for me to rehome her and it has to be the right person..I am leaving UK in December and unfortunately I can't take her with me ..if you think she could be the loyal dog for you and your prepared to put in the work with her ..she is a misunderstood dog ..she's not aggressive just not socialised and a high energy high prey drive dog ..she's never been given tinned or dry dog food her daily diet is chicken drumsticks de boned ..chicken thighs boned she is happy with 5 drumsticks and 2 things daily...that's what she has allways had but also has 2 pieces of butter toast in morning after her walk with 1 shortbread biscuit she waits by the tin as soon as her leads off..she loves tinned tuna also and once a week liver dinner...she will not eat tinned dog food ..she may eat some dry but she's very picky ..I don't buy it but she has stolen whiskers cat biscuits before lol..so u never know.she does not like hugs...she does not like her space intruded upon..she's aloof...very very independent dog ..she loves to sleep in or on top of her crate ..her crate door is allways open she can go where ever she wants she only gets in my bed early morning and deliberately lies across My legs to wake me up for a walk...lol she is not a snuggle up kinda dog ..she likes to keep guard sleep by back door on her cage ..she's hates . Doggy boots...doggy clothes..lol she wears a harness ..I never muzzle her but that's because I can fully control her...but in a new owners hands I'd advice a muzzle until your confident and know her and most important understand her...her issues are my fault not hers ...she's never been hit ...but she can read every facial expression and understands everything very very smart dog
