Four beautiful kittens who’s sexes are currently undetermined as they were only born yesterday, but of course over the next 9-10 weeks we will be looking for new homes for them and will post more pictures of each of them as they grow …
To tell them apart and because we don’t currently know the genders I have given them temporary names as 3 of them are very slightly similar …
Ginger - the Ginger one of course, who I do believe for obvious reasons to be a boy and is also the strongest little tank of a kitten …
Oreo - the black and white one, the explorer who was off from the start crawling round the box as soon as he/she could …
Smudge - the mostly black one who has a little orange smudge across her face, had trouble latching for some time and need a bit of intervention and encouragement but is now just a wriggly and loud as her siblings
Smokey - the only one that is completely charcoal coloured and as of yet has no other markings, again struggled a little to latch but has caught up, and I think is the runt of the litter as she is smaller than the other and quieter but is feeding well now and I do intervene a little to help with the feeding so that all the kittens are being fed …
Mama is very young and it was very much an accidental pregnancy but she’s done really well and taken to it like a duck to water, she has the loveliest temperament, is very affectionate and is allowing me very close 1 on 1 time with the kittens to help them toilet and find her teets so the kittens will be well used to be touched and handled as it’s happening from birth, I also have 2 children who are very eager to play with them in the next few weeks, so I will have plenty of pictures and videos to share when we start to see their personality’s growing … so much more updates to come
