Pip is a 2-year-old Collie x Basset Hound girl, and honestly... what an absolutely adorable combination! 😍
Small but sturdy, with bags of character and a face that makes people fall in love the moment they see her. Adopt Pip and we're fairly certain you're going to become very popular in your local dog-walking area! 😂❤️
But Pip isn't just a pretty face. Her family describe her as wonderfully loving, sweet, social and inquisitive — a happy girl who wants to explore, play and be involved in family life.

💔 Surrender Story
Pip has been loved by her family since she was a tiny puppy, but their circumstances have changed. They are currently living with parents, who are not keen of the dog, have a new baby, and simply cannot give an energetic young dog the walks, play and attention she deserves.
This isn't a surrender because Pip has done something wrong. Her family are heartbroken and describe her as “the best dog ever”. They simply recognise that she deserves a life where someone has more time for her.
🐾 More About Pip
Pip loves getting out and exploring. She is friendly and inquisitive with people and dogs and wants to say hello and investigate the world.
She currently isn't getting enough walks, so understandably starts them with plenty of excitement and can initially pull. Once she's had a chance to get going, she settles and responds well to commands.
Her family report that her recall is very good, although another dog can temporarily become much more interesting! 😁
Pip has previously spent time in a dog sitter home with two dogs and a cat and did beautifully. Her family actually feel she thrives with animal companionship, so another friendly dog could be a lovely bonus in her future home.
She is clever too. Sit, paw, spin, up, down — Pip already has quite a little repertoire and would probably love a family who enjoys continuing her training and giving that Collie brain something interesting to do. 🧠🐾
🏡 Ideal Home
Pip needs an active, loving family who has time for proper daily walks, adventures, play and companionship.
She could live with suitable friendly dogs and has previously lived successfully with a dog savvy cat. She is also reported to be lovely with children.
A house with a secure garden would be essencial for this curious, playful girl.

Pip is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Her family report that she received a clean bill of health at her recent veterinary check, although she is currently slightly overweight.
