πΎ Meet Benji: An Affectionate, Ball-Catching Boy Ready to Fill Your Heart with Love β½β€οΈ
Benji is a beautiful, 2-year-old Podenco/Hound cross with an athletic build, a striking tan and white coat, and a wonderfully bright smile πΈ. Beyond his handsome looks, he possesses a heart of absolute gold. He is incredibly affectionate, deeply craves human contact, and is fantastic with children. He is the kind of loyal dog who will lean his whole body against you just to be close, looking up at you with eyes full of pure gratitude π₯°. He also has a wonderful, playful side; he is a self-proclaimed world champion at collecting balls and absolutely adores water, making him the ultimate companion for sunny beach trips, pool days, or garden splashes π¦π!
True to his breed, Benji is full of happy energy and would thrive best as the center of attention in an active family where he can be the only dog πβπ¦Ί. He has so much love, fun, and unwavering loyalty to offer a home where he can be completely cherished.
π Behind his gentle, happy demeanor is a story of heartbreaking tragedy and incredible resilience. Benji was born on June 20, 2024, and weighs a sturdy 32kg. He and his brother were sadly neglected on an outdoor terrace in Spain, where his brother passed away. Loyal Benji refused to leave his side, staying with his deceased brother for two long, lonely days until kind neighbors finally alerted the police, who asked the rescue to step in.
Despite suffering through such a deeply sad and traumatic experience, Benji has refused to let the past break his beautiful spirit. He has emerged as a healthy, happy, and profoundly loving boy who is fully ready for a fresh start. He is already neutered, fully vaccinated against rabies, and has a completely clean bill of health π©Ί. He thrives with kids, but he cannot live with cats or other dogs π«π±π«πΆ. Benji has survived the absolute darkest of times, and now he is just waiting for a family to step forward, open their arms, and show him the lifelong devotion he truly deserves β€οΈ
