After a lot of discussion and a cancer diagnosis, we've come to the sad realisation that we need to cut down on our commitments and workload. So these lovely, hand-reared birds are available. Please read the following descriptions. This is a very honest listing, and I appreciate they won't be for everyone's situation.
1. Scarlet. Scarlet is a Suncheek, sex unknown. They were attacked by another bird at the beginning of 2025 and had to have a leg amputated. They're in a cage by themselves, they manage perfectly well, and need a home where they will be thoroughly spoiled with lots of out-of-cage time.
2. Chico & Luca. Chico (normal) and Luca (Pineapple) are both boys and live together. Chico is the culprit for Scarlet's leg injury, and while he gets on very well with Luca, he is a bully with other birds. They will only be homed together.
3. Emily F (cinnamon turquoise), Otis M (turquoise), Tatty F (cinnamon), Asbo M (violet turquoise) and Minty F (mint) live together as a small free-flying flock, and we only want to home them together as they're very attached to each other.
The 5 have been free-flying for a couple of years now; they might be more suited to an indoor or outdoor aviary. They are all hand-reared and very friendly; it might be somewhat of a challenge to get them to live in a cage again, and I don't think that would be fair to them.
The 5 would be suitable for a small breeding program, but please bear in mind that Emily, Otis and Tatty are siblings. Chico is their father.
This is a very difficult decision, we bred the majority of these birds, and we only want them to go to someone who will love them as we do and treat them well. No dealers.
