Description
Handsome Welsh yearling Gelding with a lovely coloured mane & tail estimated to make about 11.2 to 12hh. Microchipped, passported, feet trimmed every six weeks and wormed etc. Never seen any signs of sickness, laminitis or Cushing's.
Re-homing fee £900 as seen but open to sensible offers to right home. Once approved, fee fully paid & cleared full ownership, passport & signed receipt given.
Used to living happily in or out as part of a mixed herd. More recently has just lived out, without a care, as a companion to a pregnant blind mare in an idyllic paddock with pheasants, wild ducks and unending bird song. However, as the mare has had her foal he has been made redundant & is now looking for a suitable kind home of his own. Somewhere that can give him some kind & consistent back to basics training/handling/walks out. Living so carefree for a while has left him a bit of a cheeky chap. Was well handled before being turned away so in the right hands, shouldn't take long to get him back into the swing of things. Was the not easily spooked, social type that followed you around the place. Seems to get on with any size, age, type and temperament of pony we have here.
Has that irresistible cheeky adorable look to him but, for those new to horses, we must clarify he is still pretty much a 'baby' (14 months) with still some growing & maturing to do. Hence he is too young to ride, back or drive. Backing can usually be done age 4 but time will soon fly when you have horses and if you have had them since a youngster you will know what your child is sitting on and there hopefully also be that special bond. Presently some more handling is needed.
His final height is likely to be that of a younger child's first show pony/kids lead rein. Please, no dealers or people wanting to buy unseen. Open to viewing and vetting.
