Description
Sadly Cleo has been returned to our care for the 3rd time, and is once again looking for a home to call her own.
She did nip the male adopter and therefore is looking for a female owner who can give her time to settle & see the beautiful queen she is! Cleo has NEVER bitten her foster carers or any of the staff who cared for her at the Rescue. She is desperate to find understanding adopters who will treat her with patience and kindness, and be prepared to take on advice to help Cleo adapt to her new home as smoothly as possible.
She is very typical of her breed & can be vocal when nervous, any new adopter has to be dedicated in giving her space to decompress & now be scared by the odd grumbles.

🐶 Background: Abandoned with 3 other dogs
🐶 Personality: Loves cuddles on the sofa. Can be initially nervous, especially around men, ideally female owner.
🏠 Left alone: Would prefer someone to be at home most of the day.
💩 House training: Has the odd accident, but is learning well.
🚗 Travelling; Travels well in the car.
🚶 Exercise: Loves a gentle stroll and shorter walks.
👀 Adopter Requirements: Patient and kind adopters who will listen to all advice for bonding and take time to get to know her.
🏡 Home/garden needs: A calm home to allow her confidence to grow, with a private, enclosed garden.
👶 Minimum age of children: 16+ years. She does adore children but with her history of nipping we need to be sensible
🐕Resident dogs (MUST be already neutered, this is not negotiable): Could live with calm, dog-friendly dog.
🐈Cat tested: Does not like cats.
🚑 Medical issues: None.
Cleo is in foster in Newton-le-Willows and has been neutered, flea & wormed.
