🐾 Meet Mabel: Sweet, Smart, and Looking for a Dedicated 1-to-1 HomeLocation: Henley-on-Thames (Willing to travel slightly for the right fit) Breed: Labrador x LurcherAge: 9 months old (Un-spayed, has not had her first season)It is with a heavy heart that I am looking to rehome my beautiful Mabel. Due to a severe ankle injury that will require a year to recover, I can no longer provide the significant time, physical space, and exercise she needs. What Mabel Needs in Her Forever Home: Single-Person Household: Mabel is a one-person dog. She is deeply attached to her owner and will bond intensely with one individual. Adult Only: She is not child-friendly and requires a quiet adult-only home with no visiting children. No Other Pets: She cannot live with other dogs, cats, or animals and must be walked in areas where she will not encounter them. Space & Time: She needs an owner who has a lot of time to dedicate to her training, exercise, and building her confidence. The Good, The Bad, & The Quirky: Mabel's Strengths: Highly Trained: She is crate-trained and toilet-trained. She knows sit, lay down, paw, and heel on walks. Food Obsessed: She is incredibly food-motivated, making her eager to learn and easy to train. Gentle Soul: She is a very sweet but timid girl who just wants to please her person. Challenges to Consider: Reactivity: She is not friendly with other dogs or animals. She does come with a muzzle, which must be used on walks for her safety and the safety of others. Separation Anxiety: She will need an owner who is home most of the time to work on her anxiety and help her learn to be left alone. Important Note: Mabel has not had the easiest past, and I cannot stress enough that she is a single-person dog who needs an experienced, patient owner to give her the best life possible.
