Description
Pharaoh is a mixed breed between what I think is a Caucasian shepherd and Akita. When I bought him I was told he was a straight Caucasian shepherd but I think it’s obvious he is a bit of an Akita. He is a large dog about 42kg and about 30 inches tall. He has a lovely temperament he is a gentle giant very friendly. Never attacked or tried to attack anyone or anything, he does try to chase squirrels and birds as he thinks they play with him but never attacked or showed aggression towards any. He is very strong and will require a strong/heavy person to walk him. He does pull on the lead at first but after a while he calms down and walks very nicely. He is currently just on dry food. He is friendly with other dogs of all sizes we also have a Pomeranian and a border collie. He is friendly with cats but again chases them as thinks they are playing. He is house trained never gone to the toilet in the house. My reason for rehoming is just because he gets lonely I go out to much and can’t be home enough for him, although he has the other dogs he really does need a person that can be with him more. He is crate trained and will just sleep in the crate for hours on end. His breed is naturally guard dogs but he is the most friendly dog I think I have only ever heard him bark once when someone was approaching me in the dark and he couldn’t see who it was (he settled as soon as he knew it was safe). He is due a haircut so by collection he will have his winter coat removed for summer as he will get to hot otherwise. The price is not as important as finding a good home so will lower it a little for the right people. Need gone asap but will not let him go unless the home is safe for him and a good fit.
