Description
Bosco is a stunning, 5 year old, red stable long haired male German Sherherd. He is the dog of our dreams. This is an extremely reluctant re-homing. He is very loved but due us relocating to Canada, we cannot keep him.
Un-neutered.
Loves a cuddle and a muddy puddle but won't swim past his tummy. Very friendly GSD. Loves everyone. Is completely unaware of how big and hairy he is, such a character. He is also great with our 1 and 3 year old boys. He is trained to be happy being walked for one, 1 hour walk but will get excited if he thinks he's going for a second walk i.e. sees you picking up his lead. He is trained sit, lie down, leave, circle, paw, other paw, here, this way, stay and wait. He has good recall and stays near you when he's off the lead. His many different dog sitters always comment on how obedient he is. Loves a ball. Loves a stick more but can get possessive over it so we tend to use a ball instead.
His mother, him and generations before are KC registered in the UK. I can put you in touch with his breeder. He is from long line of award winnning show German Sherperds. Both parents are GSDs.
We get compliments on how well trained Bosco is. The only things he needs to improve on is lead pulling and barking. If food is left out when you are gone he will 100% eat it. He is a great at clearing food from our children, protecting our home and me when I go on late night runs. He isn't reactive and on holidays he's more quiet as we live in a busy area of Bristol.
He is microchiped, but does need steroids for his dermatitis which costs around £30 per month and needs washing once a week. He eats 500g-1kg of raw meat a day but that is personal choice. He is happy on other diets.
We would love for him to go to a home where he has garden space and someone who will love him as we do.
