๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿถ PRINCE โ€“ EVERY ROYAL HAS HIS REQUIREMENTS... HIS ARE A GARDEN, A GIRLFRIEND AND CUDDLES ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿ“ Ready for collection 18 September from Maidstone-Oxford-Burton-upon-Trent ๐ŸŒŸ RBU, post-adoption support & 4 weeks insurance provided upon adoption (on request) ๐ŸŒŸ If you have ever dreamed of sharing your home with a Prince, here is your chance! ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ’™ Prince is only above 6.5 months old โ€” a stunning dark ginger -coloured puppy with amazing amber eyes, long ears, slightly wavy fur and the most adorable little wrinkles across his forehead. Most likely spaniel cross. He is confident, affectionate, clever, extremely playful and still very much a baby discovering how the world works. And like every proper Prince, he already knows what he would like from his future kingdom: a peaceful home, a green secure garden, a lovely medium+ size canine girlfriend and, naturally, mandatory morning kisses and evening cuddles on the sofa. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘‘ ๐ŸŒŸ Highlights โ€ข SIZE: Small now (36โ€“37 cm / 8,5 kg); expected small-lower-medium when grown (around 42โ€“43 cm / 12-13 kg) โ€ข NEUTERED: Not yet due to young age (spay/neuter agreement applies) โ€ข CHARACTER: Affectionate โ€ข Confident โ€ข Very playful โ€ข Curious โ€ข Clever โ€ข DOGS: Loves dogs; needs a friendly, playful and well-balanced resident dog, ideally a medium/upper-medium female โ€ข CATS: Not tested โ€ข CHILDREN: 8+; playful and affectionate, but can be too enthusiastic for very young children ๐Ÿ’” Rescue Story Prince's first experience of a โ€œhomeโ€ was anything but what a puppy should know. A family had been collecting abandoned small dogs, apparently believing they were saving them. Eventually around 30 dogs were living together in one flat with no garden. They weren't being walked, vaccinated, neutered or given veterinary care โ€” and, most terribly, they weren't being properly fed. Eventually neighbours could no longer bear hearing the dogs constantly crying and contacted the authorities. When volunteers arrived, they were shocked. There were dogs everywhere, many terribly underweight โ€” little more than skin and bone. The owners calmly admitted that some had already died from starvation. All the dogs were removed. Prince and his two sisters were among them. They were only around 8โ€“9 weeks old. Thankfully, their story changed completely from that day. The puppies went to a wonderful foster home. ๐Ÿพ More About Prince Prince currently lives with his foster in a separate garden house with free access to the garden throughout the day. His housetraining is going very well. During the day he toilets outside; occasional nighttime accidents are now rare, and if he does need to go, he has learned to use a puppy pad. With people, Prince is an enormous cuddle bug. If you are standing, he may take a moment before approaching. Sit down, however, and the decision is apparently made โ€” he runs over and climbs straight into your arms. ๐Ÿ˜ He adores affection, particularly tummy rubs, and would happily remain attached to his favourite humans. Prince is very playful and loves running, wrestling and chasing games with other dogs. Growing up with his siblings and other puppies means his play can sometimes be rather enthusiastic and pushy โ€” but importantly, he understands adult dogs very differently. If an adult dog tells him he has crossed a boundary, Prince listens. He immediately becomes respectful and will happily roll onto his back. He particularly adores bigger female dogs. There has been no food or toy guarding. For Prince, another dog isn't simply an optional playmate. We believe the right resident dog will be enormously valuable in helping him mature. A confident, well-balanced but still playful female could show him how things work in a new home, teach him good canine manners when necessary and give him reassurance when the wider world feels unfamiliar. Prince is confident, but he can be alert to something completely new โ€” an unfamiliar object or sudden sound may earn a bark. Show him calmly that there is nothing to worry about and he quickly accepts it and moves on. He also loves water and will happily splash around whenever the opportunity appears. ๐Ÿ’ฆ And Prince has discovered his voice. He makes an entertaining collection of noises during games and may bark when inviting someone to play. Apparently silent royalty was never part of the job description. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿก Ideal Home Prince needs an active but peaceful home โ€” not a busy city environment or somewhere surrounded by heavy traffic. We are looking for a house with a secure green garden and easy access to green spaces and nature, where this young boy can continue discovering the world at a comfortable pace. We would ideally like a medium or upper-medium, confident, friendly female resident dog who still enjoys playing but also has the maturity to teach Prince when enough is enough. Children aged 8+ could be wonderful companions for him. They need to be comfortable with an enthusiastic puppy who loves affection and can occasionally become carried away during play, including normal puppy mouthing. Prince is not destructive and so far hasn't ruined any beds or toys. But he is still a curious puppy, so phones, cables, documents, remote controls and other valuable temptations are best kept away from puppy-level surfaces while he grows up. After his games and adventures, Prince settles, relaxes and sleeps beautifully through the night. ๐Ÿ’ž Prince doesn't need someone to turn him into a different dog. He needs someone to show him more of the world. He is still only a baby โ€” curious, affectionate, confident, sometimes wonderfully silly, and learning something new every day. ๐Ÿฉบ Health Information Prince is fully healthy, vaccinated and microchipped. He is not yet neutered due to his young age (spay/neuter agreement applies). All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (approved laboratory certificate provided).
