Just putting some feelers out regarding my dog Fred at stud in the future.
Fred is a strong, well-built working Labrador with a lovely nature. He has completed a season picking up and has been beating, although this was mostly to get him used to busy shoot days and he stayed nicely at heel rather than flushing. He has mainly been used for rough pigeon, duck and pheasant shooting. He’s a proper worker outdoors but equally happy living in the house and sleeping on the sofa with you afterwards.
I’m not looking to make money from him — instead I’d be looking for a small fee and ideally a puppy back from the litter. Because of this, I’m going to be quite picky about the bitch he’s paired with.

Ideally looking for a slender, athletic bitch from genuine working lines that is actively worked. Temperament and health are very important to me. Fred will have all relevant health testing completed (hips, elbows, eyes etc).
Not in any rush at all, just seeing what interest is out there.
