Description
Mira is a large sized female dog with long hair. She is likely a Mioritic Shepherd mix. She was saved from Codlea kill shelter and was found in very poor body condition, she had been attacked by other dogs and was heavily matted. Once taken to our rescuers shelter in December 25 she made a good recovery and travelled to our Cheshire kennels to help her chances of finding a home. She is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered with no known health issues.

She can be a bit nervous but comes over to say hello.

Mira has lived with other dogs and done well, but she also struggles with sharing a kennel at times and will growl and pin other dogs. This is likely due to fear from her previous attacks. With sensible introductions and guidance she can live with other medium sized upwards dogs.

Miras carers say 'Mira is a very sensitive girl who doesn’t like loud noises so would benefit from living in a quiet household, if she were to live with dogs it would be best if they were the same size as her so there’s no risk if they were to squabble. She could go with older calm children that won’t spook her and she needs someone who can give her the time and patience she needs'.
