It breaks our hearts to write this, but we are looking for a new, loving home for our beautiful girl, Lucky. This has not been an easy decision, and it comes only after a lot of thought about what is truly best for her.
Lucky is a happy, affectionate dog who forms very strong bonds with her people. Once she knows you, she will be your constant companion—following you from room to room and always wanting to be close. She truly thrives on human connection and will reward your love with unwavering loyalty. 💛
She can be a little unsure around new people at first and may need some time and patience to build trust. However, with gentle reassurance and consistency, she really comes out of her shell and shows her loving, playful personality. She enjoys playing with her toys and especially loves chasing balls, making playtime a great way to bond with her.
Lucky loves her walks and being outdoors, but she’s just as happy relaxing at home with her humans. At night, she’s happiest curled up close—she often sleeps tucked under the quilt by your feet, which just shows how much comfort she finds in being near her person. 💤
She hasn’t had much recent experience with children or other dogs over the past 8–9 months, but with slow, careful introductions, we believe she could adapt well.
She is currently fed on wet food, as she doesn’t really take to dry food, and she is crate trained. Her large crate will come with her, giving her a safe and familiar space of her own.
The only reason we are having to make this incredibly difficult decision is due to changes in our circumstances. I am currently pregnant, we are having to move into a home that unfortunately does not allow pets, and my partner is due to have an operation which will limit his ability to help care for her. With all of this, we feel we can no longer give Lucky the time, stability, and attention she truly deserves.
We want nothing more than to find her a safe, patient, and loving home where she can continue to thrive and be the amazing companion we know she is.
