Description
š¾Kobieš¾
1 year old (August born), intact (to be neutered) male, Doberman cross Mastiff, vaccinated, 40kg roughly.
Kobie is divine, he gets a lot of attention, he's a big big boy! He may well grow a bit more.
He is a loyal dog who really needs a stable family & home. He's so loving with me, but introductions to new people need to be done gradually, he takes time to warm to people..but once he does he's so sweet!
He needs to be the only dog in the home with no visiting dogs.
He IS dog & human reactive on lead & very protective of the home.
Off lead he's lovely, plays with other dogs and takes treats from humans.
He is not suitable for first time dog owners or first time big breed owners. He has been in a home with a toddler but from my observation he wouldn't suit a home with a young child because he has a habit of jumping up and it hurts - we are working on this.
You need to be strong & somewhat experienced.
He walks stunningly on the lead unless he sees another dog (this is where you need to be strong) & his recall is perfect.
You could have lots of great, long adventures with this lovely boy, but he is not the type of dog you can take to busy places or places with a lot of dogs.
He has experience camping.
He knows: sit, down, touch, come & leave it.
He is capable of being left alone for up to 4 hours,he is crate trained beautifully & he sleeps downstairs alone at night.
Kobie is with me as a foster but will be signed over by his owner, no fee required, but you will be strictly vetted by myself. I'm not letting this guy go to the wrong family. He has fantastic potential but he's big & scary to most people & needs the right guidance & to feel safe.
Free ongoing training advice will be provided.
I'm happy to answer any questions & arrange visits. I'm being open and honest about Kobie because I want him to find the right forever family.
