Beautiful Rare Bearcoat Shar Pei Looking for a Loving Forever Home.
It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our beautiful Bearcoat Shar Pei, Yogi, due to an upcoming military relocation overseas.
Yogi joined our family as a puppy after we imported him from a specialist Shar Pei breeder in Austria. Following the heartbreaking loss of our previous Bearcoat male to illness in 2024, we were committed to finding a breeder with an excellent reputation and a strong focus on health and temperament.
Over the past year, Yogi has been a much-loved member of our family. We are a family of six with children aged 10, 8, 7, and an infant under one year old, and he has grown up in a busy family environment. He is affectionate, loyal, and full of personality. He thrives on being part of the family and forms strong bonds with the people he loves.
True to the Shar Pei breed, Yogi is devoted to his family and naturally protective of those closest to him. He is incredibly loyal and enjoys being close to his people while remaining calm and affectionate at home.
Yogi has also grown up alongside our 5-year-old female Bearcoat Shar Pei and is used to living with other dogs in the home. When out on walks, he is curious and interested in other dogs but is not aggressive and does not bark at them. He can be strong on the lead due to his enthusiasm, so continued lead training would be beneficial.
He is fully house trained and will toilet outside on the grass when not out on walks.
Yogi’s striking blue Bearcoat and majestic appearance often attract attention and admiration wherever he goes, frequently sparking conversations on walks. He is registered with the World Bully Kennel Club and comes from a line of award-winning Shar Pei.
He has recently undergone a full health check, is up to date with all vaccinations, and has been exceptionally well cared for throughout his life. Yogi has not been neutered.
Finding the right home for Yogi is our absolute priority. This decision has not been made lightly, and we are looking for someone who will give him the love, time, and commitment he deserves. We hope to find a family or individual who will cherish him as much as we do and provide him with the forever home he deserves.
