Description
We are looking for a special new home for our gorgeous 10-month-old boy. He is a truly unique "Border-Nese" cross, combining the legendary intelligence of the Border Collie with the "gentle giant" heart of the Bernese Mountain Dog.
He is only being rehomed because, despite his best intentions, he has grown a bit too strong for his current owner to handle comfortably.
The Personality
He is quite simply the happiest dog you will ever meet. He inherited the Bernese "velcro dog" trait—he is incredibly empathetic, kind, and wants nothing more than to be right by your side. If you are having a tough day, he is the first to notice; his intuitive nature makes him a perfect companion for someone seeking emotional support or a "soulmate" dog.
Energy & Play
Living on a farm, he is a true outdoorsman. He has the athleticism of a Collie and loves his morning runs and ball games. He is fantastic with children and grandchildren, showing a gentle and playful spirit that makes him a wonderful family addition.
Training & Potential
He is a clever lad who already knows his basics:
* Commands: He will sit, go to his bed, and comes when called.
* Lead Work: As a farm dog, he hasn't spent much time on a lead. He is strong and can pull, so he needs a confident owner to continue his lead training.
* Potential: With his Collie brain, he is eager to please and will thrive with continued positive reinforcement.

He cost £1400 and was purchased from EMR Breeders in Carmarthen. They are a licensed professional breeder with Carmarthen county council. They take pride and care by breeding from Their girls. They have also been granted a kennel name from the kennel club in 2014.
