💔 URGENT HOME NEEDED FOR BEAUTIFUL ELLIE 💔 Ellie is a Large girl with a double coat needing an only dog, only pet home. No children or other animals. 🇬🇧 Currently in Kingsbridge, South Devon 🇬🇧 Sometimes the hardest act of love is letting go. Meet Ellie, a wonderful 6½-year-old girl who is looking for a new home through absolutely no fault of her own. Her devoted owner is heartbroken to be making this appeal, but following a serious accident and ongoing health issues, he is no longer physically able to give Ellie the walks and active life she deserves. Ellie was adopted from Romania at around 3 years old. When she arrived she was desperately underweight, weighing just 9kg. Thanks to the love and dedication of her family, she has blossomed into a healthy, happy 21kg girl who is vaccinated, microchipped, regularly groomed, and fully up to date with all preventative treatments. So, what is Ellie like? ⭐️She needs a pet-free and child-free home⭐️ ❤️ An absolute dream in the home ❤️ Fully housetrained ❤️ Can be left for reasonable periods without issue ❤️ Walks beautifully on lead ❤️ Excellent recall off lead ❤️ Loves her walks and exploring her surroundings ❤️ Enjoys pottering around the garden ❤️ Loves cuddles and simply being close to her people ❤️ Funny, affectionate and full of character Ellie is a Mioritic shepherd mix and is very much a "people's dog". She isn't interested in making friends with everyone she meets and is perfectly happy spending her time with her family. She generally ignores other dogs, tolerates them politely, and currently spends time with another dog without any issues, although she has little interest in playing. She doesn’t really care much for toys - throw a ball and she'll humour you for a few throws before deciding she can't really see the point! Ellie would be happiest in a calm, loving environment where she can enjoy her walks, her garden, and plenty of affection from her humans. Her owner wants everyone to know this decision comes from love alone: "Ellie is one of the best things that has happened to me in 84 years. She is the love of my life. If I were physically able, she would never leave me. I simply cannot give her the walks and care she deserves anymore." This lovely girl deserves a family who will cherish her as much as she has been cherished until now. Please share far and wide.
