With a very heavy heart, we are looking to rehome our beautiful 7-month-old male miniature dachshund. He has been with us since 8 weeks old and has been raised in a family home around 3 children, adults and other dogs. He is fantastic with dogs and absolutely adores people and attention. He is a very affectionate boy who loves cuddles, belly rubs and curling up beside you to sleep. He knows basic commands including sit, down, paw and roll over. He is still working on his toilet training and will need someone patient and consistent to continue this. He is currently microwchipped and is up to date with all flea and worming. He will come with full vet record. He has a wonderful personality and gets attention wherever he goes due to his beautiful colouring. He is playful, loving and very people-oriented. Sadly, we are having to make the difficult decision to rehome him due to allergies within our household and additional support needs in the family, which can sometimes be too rough for him. He has also been diagnosed with ongoing allergies and will require an owner who has the time, patience and financial means to continue managing his condition and veterinary treatment. We are therefore looking for an experienced, loving and responsible home, preferably someone familiar with dachshunds or willing to learn about the breed and his allergy needs. He is a much-loved family member, so finding the right home is far more important to us than simply rehoming him quickly. We will ask potential owners questions about their home and lifestyle to make sure he is going to the right family. He will come with everything he needs including, bed, furniture style crate, bowls, lead, harness, toys, shampoo, treats and jumpers. Genuine enquiries only, please. ❤️🐾
