Description
It’s with a very heavy heart that, due to personal circumstances and changes in my life, I’m having to look for a new home for my boy, Koda. This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly, and finding the right home for him is far more important to me than finding one quickly.
About Koda:
• 2 years old
• Male
• Huskita (Husky x American Akita)
• Neutered
• Loving, playful and full of character
• Great with people and children
• Great with other dogs and animals
• Raised from a puppy around people, dogs and horses
Koda has a lovely temperament. He’s an affectionate, playful boy with loads of personality and loves being around people. He’s been well socialised from a young age and is used to being around a variety of people and animals.
He loves his walks and is walked off lead most of the time. His recall is good, but there is one thing any potential new owner needs to be aware of. Around sheep, he needs to be kept on a lead. If sheep start running, he can get excited and chase them as though it’s a game. He has never harmed a sheep, but because of this, a home away from sheep would be preferable he is great around all other livestock, Alternatively, he would need an experienced and sensible owner who understands when he needs to be put back on the lead.
Being a Huskita, Koda is an active, intelligent dog and would suit someone who can give him plenty of exercise, attention and companionship. Ideally, I’d love him to go to someone with the time and space to give him the life he deserves. He is used to walks 5-10miles a day, and a garden so some to take into consideration.
This is about finding Koda the right home, not just any home. Please only get in touch if you’re genuinely interested and have thought carefully about taking on a young, active dog, due ti his size and breed he take into consideration potential cost of feeding.
I’m more than happy to answer questions, provide more information/photos and arrange for serious potential owners to meet Koda.
🏡 Genuine, loving homes only please.
