Breed- patterdale terrier x dachshund mix Age- 10 months Gender- Male Colour- Chocolate brown/Black Vaccinations- all up to date, next due his needles around the ****************** Not neutered He is microchipped He is healthy, has previously suffered with car sickness as a baby but hasn’t recently. About Paolo/ temperament: Paolo is a very friendly, playful, energetic pup. He loves to play, walk, run (only off lead when he’s in enclosed spaces). He is mostly potty trained and will wait at the door and let us know when he needs to go out but does have odd accidents. He is an outdoor explorer all the way, loves new places, tall grass, rolling and running about. He loves walking however we haven’t managed to train him out of pulling on walks. He has escaped a couple times but always just runs towards back home. He doesn’t have great recall but we have been working on it in an enclosed space (we take him to a closed off couple acres of land for dog training which he adores). He suffers from anxiety when we leave and does bark however we haven’t been able to slowly get him used to being alone with us living in a flat out of worry of us having a notice for him to go which ultimately has led to this upsetting decision to rehome him. He loves to chew his toys and really enjoys certain treats or techniques we use for play. We can discuss all his favourite things Tricks/training- sits, lays down, gives paw and knuckles (fist bump), he does stick em up and puts his paws in the air when we do gun fingers and sits pretty (when he wants to). Slight recall when not distracted but not on walks. Socialisation- Pow has been socialised from young he loves all dogs from big to small, he’s always been good with kids in the family. He can get nippy when he plays but has never hurt or bit anyone. Conditions- Paolo has been with us since a pup and we love him with all our heart. We want him to have a good loving home where he can thrive and be the happy, funny character he is. He needs a garden or at least a very active lifestyle as we take him on 3-5 walks a day. We would prefer he stay on his raw food diet and can support in planning for his feeds to either stay as they are or ween him onto something similar. We would love if pow wasn’t alone and he had some type of companion as we know how much he loves other dogs and to play. We would prefer if he stayed close where we could visit but for a perfect home we would allow him to move anywhere as long as we know he would be happy, we would ask that we could have updates and pictures and could stay in touch if possible. We want pow to be loved and part of a family who will appreciate him as much as we have. He’s a good lad and this is a hard decision but it’s what’s best for him. He does have a lot of toys, a crate, 2 beds, blankets, treats, brushes, leads, ordered a new harness and can get some food for him while he’s moving. All is included with him, they’re his comforts and would hopefully make him feel more at home.
