Description
Heavy heart decision made to give up our dog. We thought we could make it work with having two young kids and cats and we have tried what we could but for the sake of our young kids we’ve come to this conclusion.
He’s 5 months old, very energetic, loves kids but can be too bouncy and rough with them so I think he’s best to live with an adult home only or with teenagers who have the patience for energetic dogs. He’s a big foodie, so walking about with food in your hand especially young kids I would advise to keep away as he will try grab it off you.
When in the house if he’s not walked enough he can be bitey due to boredom. By bitey I mean he will try to nibble your feet or your hands but not in a harmful way. Because of this my young kids find it hard to connect with him or to enjoy playing with him due to him being too rough and too excited.
He’s good walking on and off leash but sometimes can depend if he feels like listening or not 😅
He can be left alone for a couple of hours although expect a lot of crying when he sees you’re leaving. Since we’ve had him when we need to leave the house, we keep him in the cage to prevent damages or hurting himself. We tried to leave him out of it one time and it didn’t turn out well 😩
He’s notorious for biting everything but his chewy toys! 🙈 he loves his natural chewy treats like rabbit ears or anything chewy that will keep him occupy although this doesn’t last for very long.
We tried to train him the best we could and although he is still a pup, we find it’s best if we could find him a better home that can focus on more of his training, knows more about his type of breed, can train him to be more independent especially when leaving him at home.
He’s such a lovely dog and I can see a great potential. He can be a great family dog and we hope we can find him his forever home.
