Reigny is a dachshund x Pomeranian x Jack Russell. She is an amazing girl. She is 1 years old. She loves a cuddle she loves to play once she settles in. Reigny is quite timid I have had her three months and when we first got her she would come up to anyone in my household but any one that came to visit she would bark and tuck her tale and stay by me. Now we have so many different people over she is getting used to it although she hates my dad but my dad is very pushy and don’t give her space. She can be a bit fearful of men. She loves little children but can get a bit fearful of older children that she doesn’t know. She loves my cats but she does annoy them with her chasing if they run. She just wants them to play. We did introduce them slowly and gave my cats spaces they could go for when she got to much this took a couple of weeks and they all live happy but reigny can be too much at first. She will bark at cats on a walk. Reigny loves a walk especially in the woods we have a walking route that takes two hours although we haven’t done it since the wild fires but soon as we get to a certain spot she pulls in excitement. She could probably go all day too. Reigny is great on the lead she very rarely pulls when it’s just us unless something she has sniffed has got her excited. But she is very very reactive we can’t work out if it’s excitement or if it’s aggression. We have introduced her to a few family dogs and one of them is her best friend who is calm but the other is way too excitable for her and she doesn’t like him but she wants to as she is always curious but the minute he starts barking she starts. Reign loves food but when it comes to training she is very fussy she will either take it or drop it. I do think she could be clicker trained as she works well with clicking the fingers. She is not house trained it’s one thing that we are struggling with as when we first got her she was doing all her business outside. But for some reason she started doing it in the house so we got puppy pads and started from scratch. She does use them but she will also go in the house too she has also gone on our bed a couple of times and I’m not sure what has triggered this. I’m absolutely in love with this dog so I will not be letting her go to just anyone. But unfortunately I’m in a position that for her own safety she has to be rehomed. I will not be letting her go to just anyone.
