Description
This is Jaguar. He is the kindest, calmest and most loving cat I believe you'll ever meet.
He loves his attention and strokes whilst sitting on your lap, but is also a gentleman who knows when he wants his own space and will slink away to nap anywhere soft and comfortable.
He is so patient and gentle with anybody he meets, and is usually a favourite with children!
Everybody who meets Jaguar says they cant believe how loving and soft he is "for a cat" and having had cats my whole life, none have ever come close to this boy in terms of attitude and temperament. He really is a soft boy.
Sadly, we are looking for a new home for Jag, as he doesn't seem to be relaxed living with us anymore and has been showing signs of stress which I do not want for him!
My partner and I are in a very busy period of our lives, with new careers which entails us both being away often and long periods at a time meaning he ends up with our friends or family who cat sit for him.
We have also moved house 4x since we have had him in our lives (my partner was military) and we are due to move again this year! Understandably, he doesn't enjoy the change of home and it causes stress for him each time and its not fair on him.
He seems a lot calmer and happier when he stays in my family/friends households when we need a pet sitter, as they have a quieter and more set routine, and he definitely enjoys being the sole pet in the house.
At home with us, he also lives with our dog, and they do get along well, but I'm starting to understand that Jaguar prefers to be the only animal in the home where he can do his thing and know his servants, sorry humans, can give him all the attention he deserves, and his routine isn't constantly interrupted.
I'm really hoping that someone out there sees this and falls in love with Jag, as he truly deserves the best home. Jag is a 9 year old boy now and so I want him to have a peaceful and comfortable environment.
This has been a very, very hard decision to make, but I know it is the right thing for Jaguar and that is the most important thing for me right now. With that, I wont be letting him go to just anybody, I would love to do this right for him and so I would need to really feel happy with any potential new home and owner.
Please feel free to contact me if you are interested to know more about Jag.
