Mourning Geckos for sale -
£20 per adult
£15 per juvenile
£10 per hatchling
Adults, juveniles and babies available, only due to my colony reaching capacity and needing to be downsized. I am happy to do discounts on group purchases (3+ geckos), as I recommend they are kept in groups.
This species is more of a "look don't touch" species, as they are very flighty, small and fast - the pictures of them being handled are purely to demonstrate their size.
These geckos do best in a colony, so I will only sell individuals if they are being added to an existing colony. Otherwise they will be sold in pairs or trios.
This species is all female and reproduces asexually through parthenogenesis, essentially cloning themselves and laying an egg around once a week once mature. For this reason, I would recommend a minimum vivarium size of 45cm³, as even with only a pair or a trio the population will quickly multiply. When it comes to vivariums, the bigger the better, however extra care must be taken to ensure they are 100% escape proof as babies are tiny. I will require evidence of an appropriate setup before rehoming. All adults being sold will be of egg laying age, ready to start a new colony in their new home.
This is a relatively simple species to keep, currently in a bioactive set up with a Deep Heat Projector providing basking opportunities and an LED light. They are fed repashy, fruit flies and small crickets. They are avid feeders and a joy to watch. They are very bold and can usually always be seen, especially once the colony reaches a good number. They love to bask and hunt. Any questions about care I am more than happy to answer.
