Update: One black girl and one liver boy ready now, two very special dogs, eager to love you with all their heart. Come and meet your new best friend. This is a beautiful litter of first class Flat Coated Retrievers, from excellent working and show lines. ​Our puppies are born and raised in the heart of our large family with our three adult dogs, playful cats, and young grand children. Our Flat Coats make kind, joyous, devoted family pets. They are very happy with life and love to be with you, snoozing by your side. They are also very able to turn their paw to a variety of activities - several of our puppies have been Assistance Dogs, also Search and Rescue, Agility, Cruft's, and of course gun dogs. ​Mother is our very clever and competent Puffin. She is neat, agile, fast and responsive. She absolutely loves retrieving and makes sure she has a ball to hand at all times, even in the whelping box just in case. She is very gentle and plays fetch very patiently with my two year old grand daughter, obeying her garbled commands. She is very loving and adores snuggling up on the sofa. She enjoys her puppies and is playful and patient with them. ​Our other two adult dogs are her grown up puppies, here for you to see. ​Father is Phoenix, imported from Russia to widen the gene pool so there is zero in-breeding with this pairing. He has multiple Grand Champions of Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Poland and more, in his immediate pedigree, including many from the world famous Almanza kennels in Sweden (who won Cruft's Best in Show with Almanza Back Seat Driver). He is his owner's favourite ever working Flat Coat, and he also quietly soaked up all the cuddles he could get from me, despite the pouring rain and my in-season bitch being right there. ​The puppies are being extremely well socialised in the kitchen of our busy home with free access to a secure outside area from four weeks old as well, so they are well on their way to house training by the time they leave for their new homes. They are very well handled by people of all ages, used to all household hubbub and are also very well assimilated with our dog friendly cats. ​We watch the puppies very closely and I am very happy to help you choose the puppy in the litter which fits your requirements the most, if you have specific traits in mind. It can be very difficult to choose from such an adorable bunch! ​Please message me with any questions. I have a lot of experienced with dogs and I'm happy to discuss how Flatcoats compare to other breeds, if you've not had one before. I'm not very good at photographing them, it's best to come and see, or do a video call! Puppies are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to leave, with five weeks free insurance and a blanket and soft toy smelling of mum.
