We had Turtle (as we call her as couldnt decide on name ha) since she was 2 years now she is 5. We think its female also pet shop who sold it to us think so. Kids got older now and they lack interest of our cute tortoise and as this tortoise like spend time on garden or walkin in house we would give it only to people who can offer garden / house roaming not keep her 24/7 in encloser. To me she is still little and she love to dig and explore .. .even in summer with big heat wave we had she thinks its exhaustin so she digged herself up in soil to sleep. Once a week we have to take her out if this happens bath her 20min, feed her and let her do it again if she likes. We raise her to be free not captive and she likes walk everywhere and explore. She is healthy just need trim nose by vet as im not comfy doing it. Vet clipped her nails last year but he said it didnt need it so up to you. She is very calm, dont bite, shes ok to be carried in hand got used to it and like her bath (sometimes 10mins sometimes 1min ha).... im bin enclosure so just have heat lamp ... collection only Shipley BD18
