With a very heavy heart, I’m looking for a loving forever home for my two beautiful cats, Luna and Kiwi.
This is an incredibly difficult decision for me. I am leaving the country permanently and, after carefully considering what would be best for them, I don’t feel that moving them with me would be right for their wellbeing. I want to make sure they go to a family who can give them the safe, loving and comfortable life they deserve.
🐾 About Luna & Kiwi
Luna and Kiwi are inseparable and MUST be rehomed together. They have an incredibly strong bond, and separating them is simply not an option. Luna has a very strong personality, and Kiwi is her little shadow. Luna is all Kiwi has ever known, and they rely on each other for comfort and security.
They are both indoor cats and have never been outside, so they would need to remain indoor cats in their new home.
They have the most amazing personalities. They are affectionate, loving and absolutely adore cuddles. They will happily come over for affection once they feel comfortable with you.
However, they can be quite shy and will likely hide at first in a new environment. They just need someone patient and understanding who will allow them time to settle in and gain their trust. Once they feel safe, their loving personalities really shine through.
🏡 The home I’m looking for
I am looking for a loving, permanent family with a spacious and secure home who genuinely understands the responsibility of caring for cats and is committed to giving Luna and Kiwi the best life possible.
Ideally, I would like someone with previous experience caring for cats, who understands that settling into a new home can take time and is willing to be patient with them.
Most importantly, I need a family who:
* Will keep Luna and Kiwi together permanently
* Will keep them as indoor cats
* Has enough space for them to feel comfortable and have their own areas
* Is patient and gentle while they settle in
* Has experience and understanding of caring for cats
* Can provide them with lots of love, attention and stability
* Is fully committed to keeping them for the rest of their lives
This is not a decision I am making lightly. I love them deeply, and my biggest priority is knowing that they will be safe, happy and loved after I leave.
I would much rather take the time to find the right family than rush into a rehoming situation. I would also want to speak with potential adopters and learn about their home, experience with cats and plans for Luna and Kiwi before making any decision.
They deserve a family who will love them as much as I do and understand that they are not simply two cats. they are a little family who belong together. ❤️🐾
