Description
Meet beautiful Davos! He is a Podenco mix, about seven years old and weighs about 25 kilos. He was handed in at his first shelter when he was almost a year old. At that time no one knew anything about him. He was then put into foster care for over a year. Still not adopted, he was put into a boarding facility, where he has now stayed for over four years!
At the boarding facility, he has been living in a pack and getting along well with the other dogs. He appears to be fine with cats, but, as we know, that doesn’t guarantee that every cat would get on with him or vice versa. With people, he's been described as “charming and affectionate”, and good with children but please note that H4P never recommends the adoption of any new dog into a family that has small children.
Davos now needs to leave where he is. He desperately needs to, finally, be part of someone’s family, to experience that consistent, love, affection and attention that he has missed in his life so far. If you would be willing to expand his meagre existence by inviting him into YOUR life and providing him with a permanent, secure home, he would give all the above, plus more in return!
We are Hope4Paws Uk&Spain, a Not For Profit ‘Rescue & Re-Homing Group run entirely by volunteers, who find homes for abandoned or stray dogs. We do not have our own kennels but all our funds go towards rescue costs, rescue kennel fees and transport. To adopt one of our dogs, it costs a total of £445: an initial Fee of £100 to secure transport, with the remaining £345 collected before travel and delivery to your home. Thank you so much for your support for all of our beautiful dogs that are looking for their forever homes.🙏
