đŸ âAlexa is a quiet gentle soul; sheâs getting more confident by the day and now loves to play with toys and do zoomies around the garden. Sheâs very loving once she gets to know you and loves a gentle brush. She needs the security of a crate or somewhere similar - she likes a quiet sanctuary area just for her. She would be best suited to a home on her own or with one confident playful dog of a similar size. Sheâs fine with cats and currently shares a home with four felines! Alexa is getting used to a harness but lead training is proving a challenge and her adopters may have to accept that she is walked on a harness and lead and not a slip lead. She loves running around the garden and she has visited dog fields but she still finds walking outside on a harness and lead is very scary and patience will be required. She is completely toilet trained and she is happy to be left for periods of time. She rarely barks and has shown no interest in going on sofas or beds - despite watching the other dogs in the house do this!! Sheâs a very unassuming young lady!â
Alexa went into foster in Lincolnshire on 13th October 2025.
Her Story
Alexa and her pups Lianne and Linus were brought from a sheep farm and dumped in our volunteersâs village as the pups were very sick and the farmer didnât want to waste food on them. Alexa was very afraid of everyone and could not be touched. Our volunteer spotted Alexa and her pups on the edge of the village and as the dog catcher was in the area she knew she had to bring them to safety.
