Description

It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our much loved family dog. He is an 8-year old male Cavachon who came to live with us after my mum passed away in December 2024. We have cared for him ever since, but due to increasing work commitments and family life, we feel he isn’t getting the time, attention and companionship that he truly deserves. This has not been an easy decision, but we believe it’s the right one for him. He is fully house-trained, incredibly affectionate and loves being around people. He has a lovely, gentle nature and is great with children and other animals. He would make a wonderful companion for someone who has the time to give him the love and attention he enjoys. As he came to us following my mum’s passing, we are unfortunately unsure whether his vaccinations are up to date, and we cannot confirm when he last received flea or worming treatments. He has not been neutered. He will be a huge loss to our family, so finding the right home is far more important to us than finding a quick home. We would love him to go to someone who can offer him the happy, loving life he deserves. Sweet even natures which makes them great companions

Nice size not too big or too small

They have low shedding coats

Very adaptable and providing they are given enough daily exercise are happy to live in an apartment

Cons

They form strong ties with their owners and never like being left on their own

Can suffer from separation anxiety and hates being left alone

Cavachons are higher maintenance on the grooming front

Can suffer from specific hereditary health issues that result in high vet bills
